It is widely recognized for its striking "helical" architectural design, which features a dramatic central stairway and light-filled foyers. The venue houses three distinct auditoriums: the magnificent Mahony Hall (1,200 seats), which boasts world-class acoustics; the Helix Theatre (450 seats); and the intimate Space (150 seats). A hub for both high culture and popular entertainment, it has hosted everything from the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and international rock legends like Lou Reed to major TV broadcasts like The Voice of Ireland and the annual Christmas Panto.
