Finding Classes & Schools

How do I find ballet classes near me?

Head to the Schools page to browse all listed schools, or use the Classes finder to search by city and county. You can also jump straight to a city page — Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Belfast, or Derry — from the main navigation.

Can adults start ballet, even with no experience?

Absolutely. Many schools on Ballet.ie offer adult beginner classes specifically for people with no prior experience. Filter for adult programmes when browsing schools, or read our Ballet for Adults guide for more information.

What is Silver Swans?

Silver Swans is a Royal Academy of Dance programme designed for people aged 55 and over who want to experience ballet for the first time, or return to it after a long break. Classes are gentle, sociable, and adapted for older adults. Find Silver Swans classes near you on our Silver Swans page.

The school I'm looking for isn't listed — what should I do?

If you know of a school that should be on Ballet.ie, you're welcome to let us know and we'll look into adding it. If you run the school yourself, you can create a free listing in minutes.
