Located on Foley Street, it serves as a central hub for the professional dance community and enthusiasts alike. The facility comprises six double-height, light-filled studios equipped with professional sprung floors, mirrors, and high-quality sound systems. It also houses an Artists’ Resource Room (with an extensive dance library), exhibition spaces, and a meeting room. While primarily a rehearsal and training space, its "Creation Production Studio" (Studio 4) can be configured for performances and showings with a capacity of up to 200 (average 50-80 for specific setups). It is a working home for all forms of dance, from contemporary and ballet to traditional Irish dance.

Physical Access: The building is fully wheelchair accessible with automated doors at the main entrance.
Elevator: A wheelchair-accessible lift provides access to the studios on the first and third floors, as well as the resource rooms and offices on the second floor.
Toilets: Wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities are available on the ground, first, and third floors.

Artists' Kitchen/Green Room: The building features a fully fitted canteen/kitchen area for artists and users, which can accommodate up to 20 persons.
No Public Bar: DanceHouse does not have a liquor license and does not operate a public bar. However, for special events or performances, they can accommodate wine receptions if refreshments are provided free of charge by the host.
Nearby Dining: Being in the North-East inner city (near Talbot Street), it is surrounded by numerous independent cafés, delis, and restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk.
