About this production

The global phenomenon returns home. Celebrate 25 years of Riverdance with a powerful reinvention of the show that changed Irish dancing forever. Featuring a reimagined score by Bill Whelan and spectacular new stage designs, this summer residency at the Gaiety Theatre is the must-see event of 2026.

Twenty-five years ago, seven minutes changed the world. Now, Riverdance: The 25th Anniversary Show catapults this beloved production into the 21st century.

This summer, the Gaiety Theatre Dublin hosts the ultimate celebration of Irish Dance and music. Composer Bill Whelan has re-recorded his mesmerizing, Grammy Award-winning soundtrack, while the production has been completely reimagined with innovative lighting, projection, and costume designs by Emmy® winner Joan Bergin.

From the thrilling energy of the 'Reel Around the Sun' to the emotional 'Heartland,' this theatrical experience is a stirring tribute to Irish heritage and international dance. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a lifelong fan, don't miss your chance to see the 'New Generation' of world-class dancers live on stage.
