The Trocks return to Dublin!

Opening the 2026 Dublin Dance Festival, the world-famous Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (affectionately known as "The Trocks") bring their 50th Anniversary Tour to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

This all-male company is a global phenomenon, beloved for their parodies of classical ballet that combine flawless technical prowess with incredible comic timing. From size 12 pointe shoes to fierce false eyelashes, the Trocks honor the traditions of the Russian ballet while playfully turning them on their head.

2026 Anniversary Program

For this landmark tour, the Trocks will perform a curated selection of their most iconic works:

• Swan Lake (Act II): The company’s signature work—an elegiac phantasmagoria of swans and birds.

• The Dying Swan: A hilarious yet technically stunning spoof of the solo made famous by Anna Pavlova.

• Walpurgisnacht: A mythological romp inspired by the Bolshoi Ballet’s lavish production.

• Metal Garden: A contemporary work by choreographer Seán Curran, re-imagined with the Trocks' unique flair.

• Paquita: A pièce de résistance of the classical canon, featuring virtuosic fireworks.
