About this production
A professional-level showcase concluding the Graham for Europe Centennial intensive. Featuring original choreography by Rafael Molina (FR) and Penny Diamantopoulou (GR), alongside guest contemporary artist Matt Szczerek and Dublin Youth Dance Company.
A Celebration of the Martha Graham Technique
This performance marks the final day of the ECDA 2026 Dance Intensive. As part of the global Centennial celebrations, the showcase brings together international master faculty and Irish contemporary artists.
Performance Schedule:
Master Faculty Works: New choreography by Rafael Molina and Penny Diamantopoulou.
Featured Guest: Solo performance by Matt Szczerek.
Guest Companies: Performances by Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC) and The Zoryanna.
This is a unique opportunity to see the rigorous Graham technique applied to modern, collaborative performance in an Irish context.
Guest Bios & Participants
The Zoryanna (Local Guest Company)
Bio: Based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, The Zoryanna is a dynamic contemporary dance group known for their atmospheric and expressive ensemble work. Under the direction of Elena Degtyareva, the group brings a strong local presence to the ECDA showcase, bridging the gap between community artistry and professional contemporary practice.
Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC)
Bio: Ireland’s flagship contemporary youth dance company. Led by Artistic Director Mariam Ribón, DYDC provides pre-vocational training and a national platform for the next generation of Irish dance artists. They will perform a new work specifically curated for the 2026 showcase.
