Youth Ballet West (YBW)

Founded in 2007, Youth Ballet West (YBW) is the premier youth dance company for the West of Ireland. Supported by the Arts Council, YBW offers exceptionally talented dancers aged 13 to 23 the opportunity to train, create, and perform at a pre-professional standard. Entry is secured through a competitive annual audition process. Accepted dancers receive advanced training in Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance, working alongside renowned guest choreographers. By collaborating with local arts festivals and professional companies, Youth Ballet West serves as a vital bridge between regional studio training and professional performance careers.
