Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC) is Ireland’s flagship contemporary youth dance organisation. Founded to cultivate distinct artistic voices, DYDC provides a national platform for exceptionally talented young dancers aged 13 to 23. Comprising Junior, Transition, and Senior ensembles, the company operates via rigorous annual auditions. Accepted dancers receive high-level pre-vocational training in contemporary techniques, choreography, and performance, working directly with professional choreographers. DYDC is also the proud curator of the annual Irish Youth Dance Festival, offering unparalleled stage experience and international networking for Ireland’s next generation of contemporary dance artists.
