Summer Dance Lab 2026 – Six Dance Collective

Summer Dance Lab 2026 returns to the heart of Belfast this July!

Across two studios at The MAC Theatre, dancers will take masterclasses in dance styles including ballet, contemporary dance, and dance from musical theatre. Guest teachers come from across Europe, invited for their inspirational backgrounds and their passion and dedication to passing on their knowledge.

The week is designed to be energetic, supportive, and inspiring, helping each dancer grow in confidence, technique, and performance. Whether your dancer is working towards vocational training or simply loves to move, Summer Dance Lab offers a high-quality, encouraging environment to learn, improve, and enjoy a full week of movement.

• Price: £225 per dancer

• (Note: Payment plans, sibling discounts, and day passes are available).

• Booking opens: Monday 30th March 2026 at 7pm

• Passionate dancers aged 11 to 21

• Dancers with an advised minimum level of Ballet Grade 3+ (no exam required)

• Dancers working towards vocational training, or those who simply love to move and train at a high level

• (Note: Participants will be allocated to a group to accommodate their age and experience).

• Refine ballet technique with Vaganova-style classes

• Learn iconic dance repertoire, from solo to ensemble works

• Explore contemporary dance through creative choreography and floorwork

• Masterclasses in dance from Musical Theatre

• Develop performance skills including character and stage presence

• Try out choreographing, working in groups to create a new piece

• Gain insight into professional dance life from experienced artists
