Official London Studio Centre Dublin Audition 2026.

Audition in Dublin for the London Studio Centre (LSC), a world-class conservatoire for the performing arts. This audition focuses specifically on the Classical Ballet Pathway for the BA (Hons) and FdA Professional Dance Performance programmes.

Facilitated by the Irish National Youth Ballet (INYB), this local audition allows Irish-based dancers to showcase their technical precision and performance potential to the LSC panel at the RDS.

Applications: All formal applications must be submitted directly through the London Studio Centre Website.

Note on Fees: > The standard London Studio Centre audition fee has been scrapped for this Dublin date. There is only a small €10 entrance fee payable at the RDS door on the day.

Typical Requirements (Candidate Info)

  • Age: 16+ (Applicants should be 16 by September 1st of their entry year).

  • Attire: Professional classical ballet audition attire.

    • Female-identifying: Plain leotard, pink/flesh-toned tights, ballet shoes, and pointe shoes.

    • Male-identifying: Tights/unitard and ballet shoes.

  • Documentation: Candidates are typically advised to bring a current Dance CV and a printed headshot.

Who it's for

This audition is for ambitious dancers aged 16–21 who are looking to turn their passion for classical ballet into a professional career. It is specifically designed for students who want to specialize in the Classical Ballet Pathway while benefiting from the versatile, theatre-focused environment that LSC is world-renowned for. Ideal candidates are: Students currently in Grade 6, Intermediate, or Advanced levels. Dancers finishing their Leaving Cert who want to pursue a BA (Hons) Degree in London. Younger dancers (age 16+) looking for a 2-year Foundation Degree (FdA) to bridge the gap to professional work.
