August Ballet Intensive — Advanced (Grade 8)

Pitched at senior dancers preparing RAD Grade 8, Corrib Dance Academy's Advanced August Ballet Intensive runs alongside the intermediate strand from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 August 2026, afternoons at the Corrib Dance Academy Studios in Galway.

The advanced programme moves at pace: four afternoons of demanding classical work, sustained pointe practice, repertoire from the classical canon, and the choreographic and conditioning depth expected at this level. Guest teachers contribute throughout the week, giving dancers the kind of varied input that's especially valuable in the final stretch before vocational auditions, exams, or the senior school year.

Suited to dancers working at advanced level, typically aged 14+

Corrib runs three intensives in parallel during the week of 17–20 August:

• August Dance Camp — mornings, for younger dancers (ages 8–13)

• August Ballet Intensive — Intermediate — running alongside the advanced strand in the afternoons, for dancers preparing RAD Grade 6 & 7

Advanced-level dancers, suitable for RAD Grade 8 students or those working at an equivalent level.
