DanceHouse, managed by Dance Ireland on behalf of Dublin City Council, is Ireland’s only custom-built dance studio venue. Located on Foley Street, it serves as a central hub for the professional dance community and enthusiasts alike. The facility comprises six double-height, light-filled studios equipped with professional sprung floors, mirrors, and high-quality sound systems. It also houses an Artists’ Resource Room (with an extensive dance library), exhibition spaces, and a meeting room. While primarily a rehearsal and training space, its "Creation Production Studio" (Studio 4) can be configured for performances and showings with a capacity of up to 200 (average 50-80 for specific setups). It is a working home for all forms of dance, from contemporary and ballet to traditional Irish dance.

  • No Public Bar: DanceHouse does not have a liquor license and does not operate a public bar. However, for special events or performances, they can accommodate wine receptions if refreshments are provided free of charge by the host.
