Ballet Ireland brings Romeo & Juliet on tour across Ireland from 30 October to 19 December 2026. Set to Prokofiev’s score, this narrative ballet retells Shakespeare’s tragedy through passion, danger and sweeping choreography.

Romeo & Juliet returns to Irish stages in Ballet Ireland’s 2026 national tour. Inspired by Shakespeare’s story of star-crossed lovers, this full-length production places love, loyalty and family conflict at the centre of a fast-moving ballet set to Sergei Prokofiev’s dramatic score.
Expect a production built around emotion and storytelling: the first rush of romance, the pressure of old rivalries, and the devastating cost of choosing love in a world ruled by vengeance.
2026 tour dates and tickets
