About this production
More than 45 young dancers from across Ireland perform Irish National Youth Ballet's Cinderella, choreographed by Kilian O'Callaghan to Prokofiev's score, at the Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College Dublin, from 11 to 13 December 2026.
The ballet follows Cinderella from the fireside to the palace. Small creatures help with her chores, a mysterious woman arrives at the door, and the fairies of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter spin her a gown from magic thread before she goes to the ball and dances until midnight strikes.
Kilian O'Callaghan's choreography returns for this season, set to Prokofiev's Cinderella. Irish National Youth Ballet, led by artistic director Lindsay Ashe-Browne, draws its cast from young dancers around the country.
There are six performances over three days. The Friday 12pm matinee is €15 for every seat, and the other five performances are €25, or €18 concession. Groups of 10 or more get 10% off every performance except the Friday matinee. Tickets are sold through the Beckett Theatre box office.
