Wexford School of Ballet & Performing Arts (WSBPA) is a premier center of excellence in dance education, established in 1965. Under the direction of Suzanne O’Leary (RAD, DIP, DEG, AISTD), the school provides a comprehensive training pipeline from Baby Ballerinas to professional Vocational levels. Based at the state-of-the-art Studio 12 in Westpoint Business Park, WSBPA is the leading destination for RAD and ISTD dance training in County Wexford.

Associate & Extension Programs (Ages 15-18)

For students seeking intensive training, WSBPA offers the prestigious Transition Year (TY) Associate Dance Programme. This one-day-a-week intensive (Fridays) acts as a bridge between recreational dance and professional vocational training.

• Curriculum: Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Acro, Audition Technique, and Dance History.

• 2026 Intake: Auditions for the September 2026/27 academic year are held in May and June.

Pre-Vocational & Career Coaching

The school serves as a primary feeder for elite international dance conservatoires. Senior students receive dedicated coaching for RAD Vocational Examinations (Intermediate Foundation through Advanced 2) and professional audition preparation. Our alumni regularly secure places at major colleges in the UK and Europe, supported by our expert faculty's focus on technical mastery and career guidance.

Performance & Youth Companies

We provide graded RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern Theatre, Tap, and Acro Dance at three convenient hubs:
