About Westside Performing Arts
WestSide Performing Arts was established in 1998 by Elizabeth Ennis and describes itself as a part-time school with full-time standards. It teaches dance, acting and singing to Tots aged 3 to 5, Juniors aged 6 to 11 and Seniors aged 12 and over.
The school runs pre-professional, examination, recreational, competition, performance and technique classes, including acro and flexibility.
Modern theatre dance follows the ISTD syllabus with graded examinations from age seven. Musical theatre and other performance disciplines are examined through the London College of Music at graded and diploma level, and the repertoire can be used for Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate music exams.
The competitive WestSide Dance Team has appeared at the Dance World Cup finals. The school also runs an agency and summer camps.
