About Taaffe Training
Taaffe Training runs a full-time pre-professional dance college in Dublin and monthly associate programmes in Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool and Scotland, for dancers preparing for vocational college or a career in dance. The programme is led by Director Sean Taaffe.
The full-time Dublin course trains five days a week in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, commercial and choreography, alongside conditioning, repertoire, creative workshops and industry seminars. The course is designed to prepare students for vocational colleges, professional dance companies, commercial work or further study in the performing arts.
The Monthly Associate Course meets once a month and covers ballet, contemporary, jazz and commercial, plus choreography, musicality and performance skills. It is designed for committed dancers balancing their training with other commitments.
Taaffe Training also runs two-day intensives in Dublin during the summer and October breaks. Applications for the full-time college and associate programmes are made online.
