Founded in 2011 by professional dancer Claire Gaughran, Phoenix Stage School is one of Galway's leading performing arts academies. Unlike many general stage schools, Phoenix places a strong emphasis on technical foundations, offering dedicated Jazz Ballet Technique classes alongside their renowned Musical Theatre programme.

These technical sessions are designed to build the posture, alignment, and flexibility necessary for success on stage. With a reputation for high-level productions—routinely staging full-scale musicals at the Town Hall Theatre every Spring—Phoenix provides a disciplined yet nurturing environment for dancers and performers aged 5–18 to grow, compete, and shine.
