About NISMAT Theatre School
NISMAT, the Northern Ireland School of Music and Theatre, trains performers aged 3 to 21 in Belfast, across dance, singing and drama.
Graded ballet and modern classes follow the ISTD syllabus and run weekly at the school’s Finaghy studio on the Upper Lisburn Road. Pupils are entered for ISTD examinations.
Since opening in 2016 the school has staged more than 30 full musical productions with its own students, and its dancers have been selected to represent Northern Ireland at the Dance World Cup.
