About Flipstarz Acro & Dance
FlipStarz Acro & Dance teaches acro, ballet and lyrical to children in Castlederg, Co. Tyrone. Melissa Devenney founded the school in 2024 and it now has around 120 pupils.
The studio has an acro suite fitted with inflatables and a separate mirrored dance studio with ballet barres. Melissa coaches acro and flexibility, and head dance teacher Amber King, who trained in England, takes choreography. The school teaches at a second studio in Strabane.
FlipStarz competes at the All-Ireland Championships and at Ulster Fusion in Armagh. Six of its dancers were selected for Team NI at the Dance World Cup 2026.
