About Encore Performing Arts Academy
Encore Performing Arts Academy offers training in acting, singing, voice, dance and movement from purpose-built studios in Letterkenny and Strabane, for performers aged 3 to 18 plus adult courses.
Dance classes cover PopTap, a combination class taking in modern jazz, theatrecraft, ballet, lyrical and tap, alongside ballet and lyrical and acro dance, which fuses acrobatic and gymnastic floor work with dance. Pointe work is introduced at senior level.
Examinations are optional and available across all disciplines: IDTA for dance, and London College of Music for musical theatre, acting and oral communication.
The academy runs stage performances and showcases, competition teams, guest workshops and masterclasses, a casting agency for film and television, and instrument tuition. Recent productions include Matilda the Musical.
