ELJ academy of dance

ELJ Academy of Dance runs classes seven days a week across Cork city and county, with a main studio at Mayfield Industrial Estate and satellite venues in Upper Glanmire, Crosshaven, Watergrasshill, Farranree, Lisgoold, Rathcormac, and Ringaskiddy. Founded by Emma Louise Jupp and Eric Whelan, the school teaches children from age two through to 18+.

Classes cover hip hop, commercial, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, tap, acro, and freestyle. ELJ also runs a competitive programme, with championship dancers competing at national and international level — including multiple wins at the World Freestyle Dance Championships.

Past students have gone on to study at dance colleges in Cork, the UK, and Europe, and several are training as qualified dance teachers and professional performers. The school stages an annual end-of-year production at Cork Opera House.
