About Dionysus School of Dance
Dionysus School of Dance in Mullingar teaches a fusion of jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, commercial and lyrical styles. Classes concentrate on technique, fitness, musicality, creativity, flexibility, solo and group work, and choreography.
The weekly timetable starts with Groovy Tots for ages 4 to 5 and runs through mixed-style Fusion Dance classes for juniors aged 6 to 8, tweens aged 9 to 12 and teens aged 12 to 17, alongside commercial dance classes and a senior performance and competition class for ages 13 to 18.
Students perform in street performances and showcase their routines each year on the Mullingar Arts Centre stage, and often travel to see touring musical and dance performances at Bord Gais Energy Theatre. The school also runs workshops for weddings, corporate events and birthdays on request.
