About Catherine Casey School of Dance
Catherine Casey School of Dance has taught in Dublin since 2005 and now runs at three venues: Laurel Lodge Community Centre in Castleknock, Lucan East Educate Together National School, and the Rathmichael church and school halls in Shankill. Castleknock is the largest of the three.
Classes take children from age 3. Younger pupils start with classical ballet, with modern dance introduced alongside the ballet syllabus from around senior infants and jazz added at a more senior level. Acro is also offered.
The school’s stated ethos is inclusion, and it enrols students year round rather than only at the start of term. The Shankill halls have wooden floors throughout and free parking.
