About Ballymena Dance Academy
Ballymena Dance Academy teaches ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, acro and hip hop to children from preschool age, and ballroom, Latin, contemporary and jazz to dancers of all ages, from its studio at Pennybridge Industrial Estate in Ballymena.
Kara McKartney is the principal, and the academy has taught in the town for more than fifteen years. Pupils are entered for British Association of Teachers of Dancing examinations in ballet and modern.
The academy competes at the Ballymena Modern Dance Festival and has qualified dancers for the Dance World Cup.
