Anne Maher School Of Ballet

Anne Maher School of Ballet offers classical ballet classes for children from age 3 to 20 across three locations in Co. Kildare and Co. Meath. The school is led by Anne Maher, a former professional ballerina with an international career spanning over 30 years, who trained at L'Académie de Danse Classique in Monte Carlo and danced with the British Ballet Theatre in London and as Principal Ballerina with Wiener Ballett Theater.

Classes follow the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) syllabus. Students sit examinations biannually from age 6 through to advanced level. The youngest students begin with Twinkle Toes — a pre-ballet introductory class for children from 3.5 years, currently available in Naas. All students participate in a biannual end-of-year show, performed in professional theatres including the Civic Theatre in Tallaght and Solstice Arts Centre in Navan.

Classes are held at three venues: Scoil Mhuire in Ballymany, Newbridge; Studio 3 at Monread Leisure Centre in Naas; and Diocesan Hall at St. Patrick's School in Trim.
