Project Coordinator, Inclusive Dance Cork

Inclusive Dance Cork (IDC), the inclusive dance training programme at Dance Cork Firkin Crane, is hiring a freelance Project Coordinator to run the programme day to day under IDC's Artistic Director.

Key details

• Fee: €22 per hour, about 24 hours a week

• Contract: freelance, October 2026 to October 2027, with potential to extend (funding dependent)

• Location: can be remote, with on-site days at Dance Cork Firkin Crane, Shandon, Cork, for training, key meetings and events

• Closing date: Wednesday 30 September 2026, 6pm

• Interviews: week of 5 October; start week of 12 October, with handover training

The role includes

• Finding and applying for new funding, and reporting on existing funding

• Planning and coordinating IDC training and activities, including guest facilitators, travel and accommodation

• Monitoring budget and expenditure

• Liaising with university partners and Cork ETB on accredited parts of the programme

• Impact reports, stakeholder meetings, and copy for the website and social media

Essential

• At least 2 years' experience in arts administration, or academic equivalent

• Experience delivering arts projects and preparing funding applications

• Strong financial administration and organisational skills

• An understanding of accessibility and inclusive practice

An interest in dance is desirable but not essential. Daily travel and accommodation are not covered.
