Running Blind is a collaborative dance project working with blind and visually impaired participants, led by Laura Sarah Dowdall. The project holds an Arts Council of Ireland Dance Artist Residency in partnership with the Gate Theatre and Dublin City Council.
Laura is seeking professional performers with dance and theatre experience who enjoy collaborative creative processes and want to develop their inclusive dance practice. Performers of all backgrounds and abilities are encouraged to apply.
The audition runs from 11am to 4pm on Wednesday 9 September and focuses on partnering, improvisation and devising, incorporating both movement and voice, so applicants should be comfortable working across those areas.
Successful performers need to be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout November, and for 30 November to 4 December and 7 to 10 December.
