The Irish Ballet Teachers Association holds its Teacher and Student Day of Dance at the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, Co. Kildare on Sunday 27 September 2026. The day combines lecture-style and observation classes for teachers with masterclasses for children and students, all with live piano accompaniment. It is open to IBTA members and their students only.

About the IBTA
The Irish Ballet Teachers Association represents ballet teachers in Ireland registered with organisations including the RAD, ISTD, IDTA, BBO and ARBTA. It was formed during the pandemic as a support mechanism for ballet teachers across Ireland. Membership is €30 for student teachers and €50 for full teaching membership.

Can non-members attend? No. The day is open to IBTA members and their students only.
Is there live music? Yes, there is live piano accompaniment for the day.
What is the format? A mix of lecture-style and observation classes for teachers, with masterclasses for children and students.
