University Concert Hall Limerick holds open auditions on Sunday 30 August 2026 for the children's dance chorus of The Specsavers Limerick Panto: Jack & The Beanstalk, the venue's 2026/27 Christmas production.
Dance experience is desirable but not essential, so this suits children stepping on stage for the first time as well as those already training.

About the production
The Specsavers Limerick Panto is produced by Robert C Kelly with University Concert Hall. Jack & The Beanstalk is choreographed by Jody Ennis and directed by Debbie Kiernan, and runs at UCH across the 2026/27 season.
Questions
Does my child need dance experience? No. The venue says dance experience is desirable but not essential.
What ages can audition? 7 to 11 years, and a child must still be 11 on 31 December 2026.
Is there a height limit? Yes, a height restriction of 4ft 11 applies.
Do I have to register in advance? Yes. The audition form must be completed before Friday 21 August 2026.
What time should we arrive? From 3.30pm, for auditions running 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
