Aerowaves Artists Encounter: Spring Forward 2027, Limerick
Overview
Aerowaves Europe is bringing its Spring Forward festival to Limerick from 14 to 17 April 2027, hosted with Dance Limerick. As part of the festival, Aerowaves is choosing 10 dance makers based in Ireland for Artists Encounter, a short professional development programme.
Participants join a development workshop, an online meeting with the Aerowaves team, the festival's morning talks and every Spring Forward performance and event, with lunches and dinners included. Aerowaves does not pay a fee and does not cover travel or accommodation.
Applications close Tuesday 15 December 2026 at 11pm (Irish time). Apply through the online form on the Aerowaves website.
Who it's for
Choreographers and dance makers based in Ireland who want to build international connections with artists and presenters across Europe. You must be free for all of 14 to 17 April 2027 in Limerick and be able to take part in discussions in English.

A professional development workshop, networking with European artists and presenters, and access to the full Spring Forward 2027 programme, including meals.
Schedule
Online: Meet and Talk with Anna Arthur, Elisabetta Bisaro and Roberto Casarotto of Aerowaves.
Wednesday 14 April, 2pm to 5pm: Professional Development Workshop at Dance Limerick, led by Anikó Rácz, artistic director of SÍN Arts Center, Hungary, on working internationally and career development.
14 to 17 April: Spring Forward morning talks, facilitated by Markéta Perroud (Danceconnected, Prague) and Anikó Rácz, and the festival performances.
